What file formats can I upload?

SessionStellar accepts Markdown (.md), plain text (.txt), and JSON Lines (.jsonl) files up to 10 MB. These cover the default export formats from Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and most other AI coding assistants.

How do I export my AI session transcript?

In Claude, you can copy the conversation or use the export option in the web interface. In Cursor and Windsurf, session histories can be exported from the settings or via the CLI. Save the output as a .md or .txt file and upload it to SessionStellar.

Will my session be visible to others?

Sessions are private by default. You must explicitly opt-in to leaderboard inclusion when uploading. If you opt in, your overall score and metadata appear on the public leaderboard. You can also enable anonymization to strip identifying content before storage.

How long does scoring take?

Most sessions are scored within a few seconds. Larger files (close to the 10 MB limit) may take up to 15–20 seconds. You receive a live progress stream so you can watch the scoring happen in real time.
